This weekend I was lucky enough to go see Elena Manferdini’s indoor temporary pavilion, Tempera. This installation was part of an exhibition called A New Sculpturalism, at the Geffen Museum Of Contemporary Art in L.A. It was amazing to see the design, and the detail up close was remarkable. What attracted me the most to this exhibit were the colors. I love the neon trend in fashion, and now in art. Manferdini is a young artist and architect with her own design firm, who currently teaches at the Southern California Institute of Architecture. You may find more information on her here. Her art is inspiring, innovative eye candy. Enjoy the pictures!
I loved stepping into the pavilion because I felt like I was part of the art.
