Kid Art Project

Thinking of fun things to do with your little ones is a challenge sometimes. Art lessons can be very pricy as well. Here’s a crafty project I did with a couple kids I work with. All you need is your kid’s favorite colors, stickers of their favorite things, flat card board for spreading paint, and a canvas or paper. In this case I chose stars because that is what I had available at the moment. I was going for a kid interpretation of Van Gogh’s Starry Night. The kids enjoyed playing with paint and removing the stickers once we were done applying the paint. I did not let the paint dry just in case it was harder to remove the stickers, that is an option you may want to experiment with. Not perfect but, then again Art isn’t supposed to be. :))
