Last year I watched a documentary on nutrition, mainly based on a strict juice diet. The documentary is called Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead. It tells the story of Joe Cross and his journey through the U.S. while being on a strict juice diet. He travels around the country talking to ordinary people in the street, and gets their thoughts on what they their diet is like. He also shares his quest to a healthier lifestyle through a juice only diet. It was very captivating to see his commitment, and his enthusiasm as he helped another man gain control over his unhealthy way of life. That movie inspired me to start trying to consume more vegetables and fruit. So, I was really into the juice thing for a while. My favorite is kale, carrot, orange, and cucumber juice, with a squeeze of lemon. I also enjoy just plain arugula and cucumber. It’s a great way of getting vitamins for cell repair which our bodies don’t produce on their own. Try it yourself, you won’t regret it. Cheers!
