Isn’t it amazing! On a visit to the UCLA Hammer Museum I discovered this artist, Mary Weatherford. This painting is titled Ruby I. It is one of a set of seven paintings created by the artist, based on her observations in the city of Bakersfield, California. This one in particular depicts an urban night sky. I wish it was in my room.
