Casually summer chic means a mix of comfort and style to me. While I am mostly always in shorts in the summer, sometimes I like to dress them up. Very easy to do with a button down collar shirt. A sleevless one is best in the heat.
Flats are my go to nowadays. These here are so comfortable, and have become my current favorites because of the ankle strap. They are so unique because they are also strappy around the toes, perfect for hot weather as they are not completely sealed off. My feet get to breathe a little.
As far as my shorts here, I like them a little loose. Not too much, but just so they hang a little off the hip, but don’t fall off. I feel comfortable and fancy. What is your chic summer style? Do you dare wear shorts to work? I think you can totally wear this look to work by adding a tan belt, making it a bit more formal. With that said, hope your work week is off to a great strart!
