Creative Jitters

Hope you all had a great weekend. I’m getting super excited/nervous about two classes I’ve signed up for this Fall semester. One of them is Beginning Digital Photography, and the other being Beginning Multimedia (photoshop design). Exploring the arts is one of my passions in life, although scarry because I feel that it can be very challenging sometimes. Challenging because it takes time, and I feel that I have so little time to do all the things that I want to do in this life.

I have decided to face my fears. I am following my gut, which tells me to go for what I love. So far I have conquered one design class. I was actually good at it, got an “A”. I wish I could say the same for my drawing class, which proved to be much more difficult than I thought it would be. I got a “B” last Fall. I was sort of mad at myself because I didn’t turn in one assignment, do to lack of trying. In the end, it was a great learning experience! I learned to not give up, even when the task seems daunting.

Enjoy these pictures of my last drawing class this past Fall. The teacher had us work on this collage for the whole entire class. Each student started out with one sheet of drawing paper, which had to be past down to the person sitting on the left, for them to add on to your own drawing. We got about 5 minutes each to add our own touches to the drawing before continuing the same process over and over. So we all got to draw on eachothers work. It was interactive and fun. The pictures are of the finished product after it was all pieced together to form one unified piece of art. Natily took the class with me, and I couldn’t have been happier having someone to share this experience with. Soooo thankful she agreed to take the class. Let me know what you think, and wish me luck! :))
